Houston Texans safety Jahleel Addae and tight end Jordan Akins did not travel with the team Saturday and have been ruled out of the following day’s AFC divisional playoff game at the Kansas City Chiefs.Addae suffered a knee injury last week in a wild-card victory over the Buffalo Bills. The 29-year-old played in all 16 regular-season games (three starts), making 45 tackles and intercepting two passes. His absence means more time for veteran Mike Adams, who had three tackles in six regular-season games before filling in after Addae was injured last week. Adams, 38, had four tackles, including one for loss, and a forced fumble against Buffalo. He was a Pro Bowl player in 2014 and 2015 for the Indianapolis Colts.Akins, 27, missed last week’s playoff game because of a hamstring injury. He caught 36 passes for 418 yards and two touchdowns in the regular season.
