Miami freshman Kyshawn George entering NBA draft

Miami Hurricanes freshman guard Kyshawn George, after 16 starts in college, told ESPN on Thursday that he is entering the 2024 NBA Draft.The 6-foot-8 George, a native of Switzerland, is projected to be a first-round pick. He told ESPN that he is forgoing his remaining college eligibility hiring an agent and submitting paperwork to be eligible for the draft on June 26-27.”I decided to follow my basketball dream and make it a reality,” George told ESPN. “I did not expect anything from this season besides working on my game and getting better every day.”George averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 23 minutes in 31 games. He shot 42.6 percent from the field, 40.8 percent from distance and 77.8 percent from the foul line.
