Astros RHP James undergoes hip surgery

Houston Astros right-hander Josh James will be sidelined six to eight months after undergoing hip surgery, the team announced Saturday.The Astros said James underwent the procedure to repair a labral tear in his left hip on Friday.James suffered the injury in an August 20 outing against the Colorado Rockies and went on the injured list the following day. He next pitched for Houston on Sept. 9.
