Texans WR Hopkins played through shoulder sprain

Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins told reporters after Saturday’s wild-card loss to the Indianapolis Colts he battled a grade 3 sprain of the AC joint in his right shoulder after halftime.Hopkins hurt the shoulder in the second quarter and headed to the locker room a few minutes before the break, with the Texans trailing 21-0. He finished with five catches on 10 targets for 37 yards in the 21-7 loss.Asked if he considered sitting out after halftime, Hopkins told reporters, “”No, if I would have a broke leg or something.”The 26-year-old finished the regular season second in the NFL in receiving yards with 1,572 and was named first-team All-Pro, but his least productive game came against the Colts, when he caught just four of 10 targets for 36 yards and a score in Week 4 at Indianapolis.
